-2025-
YTF recently donated $4000 to assist the youth program and help rebuild parts
of the facility following the 2 hurricanes that passed through St. Petersburg in fall 2024.
Nearly half of all after-school tennis campers at SPTC are on scholarship due to financial need,
and 60% of all summer camp attendees are on scholarship due to financial need.
Without the assistance from organizations such as the TYTF, these tennis camps and
programs for underprivileged youths would not exist. It is not just about learning a sport,
but also the friendships, discipline, teamwork, and the physical, mental, and social well-being.
YTF Sponsors Youth Tennis Event in St. Petersburg
On May 20, 2023, the Chambers / Pilon Law Firm hosted a free one day tennis camp at the historic
St. Pete Tennis Center (Bartlett Park). The purpose of the camp was to introduce kids to the game
of tennis and provide basic instruction - for most it was their first experience on a tennis court.
The YTF was proudly one of several named sponsors. The event was primarily organized and led by the
firm's principal member, Jeff Chambers, who also serves on the YTF board of directors.

The camp was attended by approximately 50 kids from the local area, ages 5 - 13, who were provided
free clinics by 8 teaching professionals from the tennis center. Volunteers from the law office,
along with YTF President, Ed Jagger, were on site to lend a helping hand, passing out raqcuets,
snacks, drinks and t-shirts.
The day ended with the campers eating some Chick-fil-A sandwiches and talking about how much fun
they had at the camp.
Thank you to our sponsors:
